STRENGTH TRAINING FOR SWIMMERS  PROGRAM

ACHIEVE PERSONAL GOALS WHILE IMPROVING OVERALL HEALTH.

In 6 weeks, you'll start noticing differences in your strength and transfer technique to your swim strokes. In this program, I'll teach you how to:

  • Set goals and put them into action
  • Implement a dryland strength training program
  • Safely lift weights and use training tools out of the water
  • Improve mobility and flexibility

WEEK #1

Get started with setting goals and intentions with your program. Then crush your first full workout!

WEEK #2

Building on week 1, we'll continue to establish baselines of strength and mobility.

WEEK #3

We're picking up a little intensity this week while still staying in tune to what your body needs.

WEEK #4

Leveling up again with a progressive overload from the first half of the program.

WEEK #5

Start to feel your strength and stamina increase. Workouts should still feel challenging but not impossible!

WEEK #6

Your last week completes our final workout of the series. If you're resting for a competition, this is a great time to start a taper!

My athletic background started in the pool when I was 4 years old. I swam competitively until my mid-twenties, placing in multiple events at the national level for USMS and competing in USA Swimming events. I recently came out of “swim retirement” to train long distance and endurance swim races.

Nothing came easily for me in swimming, so I know what it's like put in the work. That also means it's so rewarding when it pays off! 

I have lived all over the country, and called California home for 24 years. I currently reside in Burlington, Vermont with my dog, Sadie--who makes quite a few appearances in this program!
